GROUNDED is a perfect marriage of alcohol and columbian coffee. With over 12 months of development, Chris & Becca (the face behind Hummingbird) decided now was the time to launch GROUNDED as its own standalone product. Initially being developed for their RTD cocktails, they were never happy with the sweetness of mainstream and popular coffee liqueurs, the cogs in Chris’s drinks brain started to move. If we cant find something we are happy putting in our drinks, make something!
GROUNDED is the perfect coffee liqueur to drink neat or over ice, in a cocktail, over ice cream or with tonic.
Sitting at 24% ABV, GROUNDED is on the higher side of coffee liqueurs and mix that in with fact we have 66% less sugar than some of the highest selling coffee liqueurs on the market, GROUNDED is all about the coffee!!
We teamed up with the guys at Northumberland Coffee to source a beautiful single origin Columbian coffee the created an intense, medium roast coffee that just worked out perfectly for what we were wanting.

Ingredients: English Wheat Vodka, Northumberland Columbian Coffee, Water and Demerara Sugar.

SOMETHING TO WAKE YOU UP!
One of the most impoertant things with grounded is the amount of coffee we used. We wanted coffee to be the only flavour profile in there so we have roughly 50% of the coffee you would find in a single 40ml espresso as you would get in a 25ml measure of Grounded. High in caffeine, low in sugar and an ABV that works perfectly in cocktails!

25ml Hepple Wheat Vodka
25ml Grounded Coffee Liqueur
40ml Espresso
10ml Creme De Cacao
Shake all ingredients and double strain in to a Nick and Nora or Coupe.
